Budapest is the capital city of Hungary

Budapest is the capital city of Hungary. If I ever in life had to write a term paper or writing a dissertation about Budapest, I would write about its beautiful sights of interest, because it has so many of them. But, probably, these, are the ones I would mention: Matthias Church, Buda Castle, Chain Bridge and Hungarian Parliament building. Have you ever seen these places? I promise you, they are fascinating!

Matthias Church is the center building of Buda’s Castle District. It is a very old church (1050), that’s why it is so special place to visit. The current church is built in Gothic style, and it would amaze you with its beauty from outside and from inside. In 19th century it was one of the largest churches in Hungarian Kingdom. How cool is that?

Also, let me tell you about Buda Castle. Since 1265 Hungarian kings had lived there. And it used to be called Royal Palace. It is such a beautiful place, because it was built on the Hill. It is surrounded by different public buildings. It is close to Danube River, which makes it even prettier.  Another main attraction is Chain Bridge. This Bridge crosses Danube River. It became very important in Hungary, because it was the first bridge being built crossing this river. It was built in 1849.
